At JOM, accessible from JOM app and JOMpet.com, our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy contains types of information that is collected and recorded by JOM and details how we use it.

Account Deactivation and Deletion Policy

• Deactivate Account: We have provided the facility to Deactivate Account functionality so that users can temporarily deactivate the account and upon deactivation, all the user information will be hidden for other users. And if user want to reactivate the account then user can login with the same credential and upon clicking on the "Yes, Reactivate" button, the account will get activate.
• Delete Account: We have also provided the facility to Delete Account permanently so that if the user does not want to use our application and doesn't want to share the data anymore then they can use the Delete Account functionality and the user account will get deleted immediately. By Deleting, the user's all personal information (Profile Image, Name, Address, Gender, Date of Birth, Phone Number & Email) and app data will be removed from our system permanently.

  1. Go to User profile
  2. Click on the Delete Account option
  3. Click on the Yes option to delete account

Log Files

JOM follows a standard procedure of using log files. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies

JOM uses cookies, just like most websites. These cookies are used to store information including user preferences, and the website that they accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize web page content based on the browser type and/or other information.

Children's Information

Children protection is an utmost importance to JOM, and we encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

JOM registered users must be at least 18 years old. This is a community of hobbyist that enjoy sharing information on their pets, and encourage members to be of suitable age. If you think that your child registered on our app or website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records
